GEORGE MILLER :: Drums, vocals

George Miller"I was born in a state of total clarity. I've always known what I was supposed to do with my life. I never even prepared for any other eventuality. Music is in my blood.

My grandmother still tells the story of how my grandfather would strum an open chord on his guitar when I was crying and I would instantly go silent and wide eyed. She is the one who started my journey into music by teaching me how to play piano. My only regret is not sticking with those lessons. She started me at five and I was done by 12. I should have stayed with it. Live and learn.

I started playing the drums when I was 10 and showed aptitude from the start. I read through my first drum book in a week with no help. I wasn't given a second book to learn from for another two years. By that time MTV and Friday Night Videos had given me the idea that rock and roll music was a pretty solid gig. When I started junior high school I got to play on my first drum set. To this day I've never had a single lesson on drums, but I have had instruction in nearly every other aspect of percussion which I think is kooky. Once I sat behind my first drum set I knew I was home. All I did through junior high and high school was play drums. Like Zac, I spent all my school time in the band room playing music. I started my first band in high school. After we won the school talent show I was hooked for life. My days since have been spent in search of my band which I found with Adam, Rob, and Zac.

I'm really blessed to be in the company of such talented musicians and songwriters, and I can't wait to hear all the wonderful music I'm sure we'll create."
